Reaching the University of Ulm
From the bus station in front of the train station (and many other stations, of course), take line 3 (or line 5 which takes only slightly longer), direction Universität or Wissenschaftsstadt. During the day, busses leave every 10 minutes and take about 15 minutes to reach the university. You will need to get off at “Universität Süd”. The one-way fare is currently 1,90 EUR (standard price for a single journey within the Ulm/Neu Ulm city area). An all-day ticket is 6,00 EUR and is valid for up to 5 people.
Timetables of the busses can be found at www.ding-ulm.de (in German only).
Reaching the Workshop
Once you arrive at the “Universität Süd” bus stop it’s about a two minute walk to the exact venue (Universität Ulm (Süd), Oberer Eselsberg, James Franck Ring, Building O28, Room 1002). If you arrive by car, parking spaces can be found all around the building. There will be PSL2011-signs showing you the way.
